Breaking the Fast- Tips After Master Cleanse

This phase is also referred to as easing out phase. Since you have not ingested any solid food for the past ten days, it is vital for you to have the fast broken properly and carefully.

Because you have just underwent the master cleanse, there is reduction in the rate of your metabolism. When you eat food all of a sudden, there will be inability of your stomach to function properly. When this happens, it will result to indigestion and you may also feel constipated as well as nauseous.

Basically, you have to stimulate your stomach, large intestines as well as your small colon. This is the main purpose of this phase. You must put in your mind that you have to maintain proper fluid intake for your body to be hydrated well.

With this, you have to start eating foods that are relatively similar to fluid like porridge and fruit juice. These are taken in during their first day of the easing out phase.

There are some steps involved in this phase:

During day 1: You have to consume first fruit juices (grapefruit juice, watermelon juice, orange juice). Aside from this, soft porridge is also advised for you. There are also some individuals who are continuously ingesting lemonade blends at this day.

During Day 2: Continue to consume porridge and fruit juices but you can already ingest vegetables and salads in a slow rate in order to stimulate your system.

During Day 3: You have to continuously eat vegetables and fruits this time but you can already add grain foods provided that these are soft enough.

During Day 4: This is now the end of the easing out phase. But it is still advised for you to avoid ingesting dairy and meat foods for the next coming days.
